I just found this stereoview while browsing around the internet tonight. The original one is available through the NY Public Library.
This Stereoview was taken by C M Couch and is supposedly of “Dr Arey’s Group” at some point from 1860 to 1889 (probably Couch’s studio years).
Anyone know anything about this group?

I can’t help you with Dr. Arey but you really helped me. My house was built and owned by 2 generations of the Couch family. Because of your photo by C.M. Couch I Google’d “Dr. Arey”. The web page from the NYPL came up with 2 pictures of my house, a picture of the owners, and another of his sister who’s initials are still painted over the door of one of the closets. There is a stereograph of another Couch home that was on Long street at the Concord Antique store. That house burn down in the 1940s. It was also taken by C.M. Couch.
