
The 78th annual NH Craftsman’s Fair starts this Saturday, August 6th and runs through Sunday, August 14th, a full nine days of crafts. Held at the Mount Sunapee Resort in Newbury, this crafts event is open to everyone. Over 200 booths of vendors and craftsmen are on display. Visitors get a chance not only to view or purchase items but meet the people who created these pieces of art, which include jewelry, glass, pottery, prints, metalwork, fiber arts, woodcarvings, weaving, sculptures, furniture and leatherwork.
Demonstrations and workshops are given by juried members of the League of New Hampshire Craftsmen, as well as invited guests from the Canterbury Shaker Village, Enfield Shaker Museum, New Hampshire Art Association, New Hampshire State Council on the Arts, Granite State Woodcarvers, Granite State Wood Turners, and more than 20 New Hampshire craft guilds.
Fair hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
daily, rain or shine.
Admission to the fair is $10 for adults; $8 for seniors, students, active duty military (with ID), and groups of 20 or more. Admission is free for children 12 and younger.
A ticket includes admission to all exhibitions, demonstrations and musical performances as well as a second day free return.
